Lorraine Downie is one of Europe's leading facialist and qualified beauty therapist (City &Guilds, ITEC, Guild of BT). She is an accomplished therapist and has over 20 years in the skin care industry, owning an exclusive salon in the West End of London that has a wonderfully established client base. She is a qualified teacher and lecturer and has extensive knowledge in skincare, having carried our many ingredient, blending and perfumery training. She has worked in central London for all of her beauty therapy career and has run and managed her own company since 1992.

Lorraine uses her extensive expert knowledge of the skin to deliver the most effective bespoke facial treatments. Lorraine is no stranger to hands on facial treatments – such as the Facial Quasha Treatment, Facial Massage & Facial Gymnastics.

Meso-therapy, Micro-sculpturing Treatments, Oxygen and LED light therapy treatments are her go to treatments that leave the skin firm and tight and beautifully dewy exterior. Lorraine uses many brands of skin care products, her favourites are Skinceuticals and Medik8.

     During this facial Lorraine will use a very specific approach. Gently, gently. All products used will be natural, organic, good enough to eat. The more familiar Lorraine becomes with your skin, the products will be slowly introduced, so as to cause no reactions!


    At the end of the treatment your skin will be left glowing and CALM.

    This facial will focus the the 3 most prominent areas.

    During this facial Lorraine will mix and lend any ingredients just like a chef. For example, if your skin tends to be dry, she might blend the following ingredients;


    • Wheat-germ
    • Argon
    • Castor oil
    • Olive Oil
    • Rose – tuberose
    • Almond

    At the end of the treatment any oil that is left will be turned into a facial spritz for the client to use nightly on top of moisturiser.

    A treatment that is there to lift, reduce puffiness, line smoothing, dark circle diminishing. Lorraine carries out a range of treatments just around the eye area to lift and smooth out. A combination of cupping, Lymph Drainage, Micro-current, oxygenation, ultra sound, LED light therapy.


    Cool chamomile or green teabags are placed on the eyes to sooth sore and tired eyes.

    This facial incorporates;


    • Lymphatic drainage using Lorraine’s cups that reduce puffiness, stagnation and water retention
    • Next is her Qua Sha – Used for hundreds of years in the East, this treatment is well known for lifting the cheekbones, re-moulding and re-shaping
    • Followed by vigorous massage, your skin is glowing and lifted when you leave

    On departure, Lorraine will recommend bespoke facial exercises for you to do, for any areas of concern

This custom-tailored skin care treatment plan is designed to offer you a course of facial treatments based on your individual skin type or condition such as ageing skin or acne. 

This service is to ensure that you get the best results how you need them. 

You will firstly be required to attend the initial consultation which is approx 30 minutes. During the consultation, we will diagnose and assess your skin, understand what results you are looking to achieve to create the ultimate skin care treatment course.

We will also recommend the best skin care routine to continue at home to improve and extend the results of your treatment.
